2020 MRTA Distinguished Retiree of the Year

We are happy to announce the 2020 Distinguished Retiree of the Year is Carolee Hall of Brookfield, MO. As a highly active community member, Carolee continues to epitomize the MRTA mission statement of “To serve, not to be served.” She is active with the Brookfield Early Childhood Advisory Board, 4-H, and FFA. For the past eight years, Carolee has served on the Linn County Senior Center’s Board of Director and she and her husband were both inducted into the Missouri State 4 -H Hall of Fame in 2016.

In her local MRTA Unit, Carolee has served in many leadership positions over the past 21 years of membership in MRTA and has also attended many MRTA State meetings over the years.

In her own family, Carolee has instilled the importance of education with her three daughters and seven grandchildren.

  2. As I was checking what is going on with MRTA today, I saw the MRTA Distinguished Retiree of the year and the Regional winners were posted. I would like to say congratulations to each one. I hope all retired teachers and school personnel keep “Showing Up” and doing the work to ensure your retirement stays strong. Barbara loved, lived, and breathed MRTA.
